On November 1st at 1300 CST at the Chicago O'Hare Int'l Airport, Adam Zhang Bei (pronounced Jong Bay) Tkach became the newest citizen of the United States of America. At the same time, our connecting flight announced it's final boarding call. Because we still had a good 30 minutes to get to the gate, we got to enjoy an additional 3 hours in Chicago. But finally at 6 PM EST, we landed safely in Dayton and Adam and his sisters met for the first time!
The girls and Adam enjoyed the evening together. The language barrier did not seem to matter. Adam enjoyed exploring his new house.
Many thanks to friends and neighbors for watching over our girls and house the past 2 weeks. The peace of mind you gave us was priceless. Adam's next big step will be to take care of his cleft palate. We'll begin that process soon and keep you informed.
Where is Adam? He is home with his forever family!

It is so sweet to see and hear that your family is all together again! The girls look like they are adjusting to their newest brother who is now in their world.
We too missed our flight out of Chicago, which turned out to be okay... it gave us a nice breather before the final leg home.

Hello Tkach Family!!! It looks like everyone is doing well together. I'm so glad that God has brought such a wonderful group of like minded families together.
Thanks Jeff for the prayer the last day. In the midst of everything I found myself rather absent minded those last few days. We were sure ready to go home.
